What exactly needs to be rehabbed? I don’t see anything that looks terrible.

That place looks amazing. But for the seller to openly admit it needs rehab AND it needs a septic? Home-buying equivalent of “Ran when parked.”

i havnt been inside but my guess is a lot. If that house was fully renovated it would be $700k-$800k

literally. The guy who lived there died (i’m not sure if it was in the house or not....I’m hoping not) and this is being sold by his family) yes I checked the garage for dusty mustangs but it was empty. I havn’t been in but (I road around the house on my mountain bike.

damn thats cheap for a house like that

With the market the way it is right now, around here? Probably too much. Very few people make enough money around here to afford something in that range. And it’s so close to several lakes - one in particular - that someone with $600k to spend would just go on the lake for a little more. That price range tends to sit on the market around here for a long time. But it’s unique, so you never know.

That house is incredible. I wonder what terribly fatal flaws it’s hiding behind its walls and beneath the floors.

thats what i’m afraid of but i’ve been there and done that, i just dont really want to do it again.... well, I do but I’d rather spend the time with my kids and I dont want to subject them to that kind of mess.

I would buy it for the wood work and stained glass alone. That is some gorgeous detailing.
